On 1st October 2006, the Vibha DC 5K WALK & FUN FEST 2006 was held succesfully at the Hunters Wood Pool Area in Reston. Thank you to all volunteers and participants who showed their support, in spite of the rain.

CANNOT WALK?? NO PROBLEM

There are many health benefits to walking, but that is not the only reason for you come to this event. Here are some other activities:

Activity Tent

The Activity Tent will feature Mehndi and Face Painting artists, Cookie Decorating, Jewelry-Making, Painting and many other activities for kids and the kid in all of us. There is no charge to participate in any of these activities.

Food Corner and Juice Station

Refuel after the Walk. Stop by at the Juice Station or the Food Corner featuring mouth watering Smoothies and Indian Fast Food. There is a reasonable charge for the food featured at the Juice Corner and Food Corner.

Still Not Satisfied?

We also plan to have a local MUSIC BAND entertain us during the event.

All walkers are eligible to participate in a raffle for an IPOD NANO

For those walking, keep an eye out for signs with Vibha related content. These are the basis for a QUIZ contest at the end of the Walk. Prizes include gift certificates to area restaurants.
